Facebook Viral Dead Dolphin Photo — Hello Public Enemy Summer Edition… that’s true, Michelle Nicole.
A Facebook account under the name Nhoy Tasara, a sailor from Casiguran, Aurora, has posted the photo below. The photo has gained worldwide attention, including those of Carsten Stormer, a Journalism graduate, posted, “A proud example of human indignity, ignorance, stupidity and indifference. What a prick. I hope this is against the law and he’ll get prosecuted. But I guess thats wishfull thinking.” Take a look at this sad photo.
What’s even sadder to look at in this photo is that the man, named Nhoy, looks proud getting a catch. Also, if you will happen to check out his profile (search!), photos also include captured hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks and other species. I think I saw a sunfish. I’m not sure though. Those are peaceful animals. Wow. Take a look.
According to the comments, the dolphin (first photo) was then set free afterwards. But I kinda doubt it. Look at the hooks. The dolphin looked really stressed. But anyhow, be mindful that wounding or catching dolphins is punishable by law (BFAR FAO 185-1).
Poor little dolphin. The authorities are waiting for your explanation. Not like. Dude, ignorance of the law is no excuse.
