BAYO Cancels ‘What’s Your Mix’ Ad Campaign

BAYO What’s Your Mix Campaign Cancelled — I didn’t know anything yet about this particular campaign, until the memes started to spread over.

Here’s some photos of the recently cancelled BAYO ad campaign entitled “What’s Your Mix?”

The photo, showing a mix-raced model, stirs controversy among critics. Curtis-Smith’s ad goes “50% Australian and 50% Filipino.” Another model’s ad goes “30% Indian and 70% Filipino” and still another, “40% British and 60% Filipino.”

Late last night, BAYO’s CEO deeply apologized over alleged racist campaign:

We at Bayo deeply apologize for the message our campaign, ‘What’s your mix?’, has unintentionally conveyed,” the official statement on its website read. “We would like to express our regrets to those who have been offended or felt discriminated against.
