Watch Sadako 3D movie — The most-awaited 3D version of the hit Japanese horror film is coming to the Philippines! Not in IMAX though.

Sadako, the popular ghost-monster from the movie “Ring-O”, and named as Samara in the hollywood adaptation of the film The Ring, was released with another plot, and is coming to Manila this August. Check out the complete synopsis of the upcoming Sadako 3D movie below:

Akane Ayukawa (Satomi Ishihara) is a teacher at an all-girls high school. At the school there is a rumor about a video uploaded at a live suicide broadcasting website. Its said to be cursed, as it is believed that the viewers died after watching it.

At the same time, Akane’s student Noriko has come under a mysterious death and furthermore mysterious deaths had been reported at various places. Although the police concluded the cases as suicide, in truth there is one common point connecting the deaths: they had all watched the video before.

Also there is Detective Koiso (Ryosei Tayama) who is after Kashiwada Seiji (YusukeYamamoto), a man involved in the deaths and is planning the resurrection of Sadako. Meanwhile, danger too approaches Akane’s boyfriend Takanori Andou (Koji Seto)

Sadako 3D will be relased in cinemas but not IMAX starting August 15.
