How To Breed Peridot Dragon DragonVale — The very first male breed of gemstone dragon is out finally. It’s the Peridot Dragon!
I discovered this new dragon breed first while I was racing. I saw a green dragon i’ve never had before. And so I rushed to the market and found this Peridot Dragon! I got 3 Ruby Dragons in my island (no pearl and emerald because I just started playing DragonVale recently), and I want 3 of this too!
Professor Olivine first discovered the peridot dragon while researching a thorny plant in the High Plains of Faridat. These proud and August creatures can be seen headbutting each other in the wild as a display of their strength and magnificence… or maybe they’re just tired to being confused with emerald dragons.
Confirmed Combinations:
Cactus (L) + Crystal (R)
Iron (L) + Evergreen (R)
Currently, this is the only combination that worked. Now how would you know now if you’re succesful?
- Gemstone dragons has a steady breeding and incubation time. Just like Ruby Dragon, Peridot Dragon will breed and incubate its egg for 31 hours… each.
- Peridot Dragon egg is a green egg with a diamond-shaped dark green gem.
If you have 1,475 gems on hand, then maybe it would be best to just buy one lol instead of experimenting haha! You can sell Peridot Dragon and its egg for 1,500,000.

I’ m going broke buying gems just to make the breeding/incubation faster and only to find out I got the wrong combinations.
Do they have to be in their max level and which side left or right and do they have to be in the epic breeding or just in the normal breeding cave?

That was my confirmed combination position, Left and Right. It may work vice versa though.
